Brazil’s Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, or CDC) sets short deadlines for backing out of a purchase and for complaining about defects, and missing them can mean losing the right. This calculator shows the cutoff date for each situation, accounts for the suspension caused by filing a complaint with the seller or supplier, and tells you whether the deadline is still open today.
